The Baix Llobregat Tourist Board is addressing the field of local tourism through a project with great prospects for the future. The initiative is based on the district's natural and cultural heritage, as well as the growing number of new tourist infrastructure projects, the aim being to spread the word about the region's remarkable diversity. The ultimate goal is to provide a quality enjoyment experience for both local residents and visitors from every possible location, thereby providing an economic stimulus for the district.

The Tourist Board's efforts have a far from utopian focus.

If the district's beaches had until now been its flagship in terms of tourism, the board's work will in the coming years reap the benefits offered by new infrastructure projects in terms of revitalising the tourist potential of the region, which features a range of options that have often been largely overlooked.

The Tourist Board represents a great opportunity to improve the quality which the district offers to tourists, to help individuals with an interest in developing this business, and ultimately to promote the rediscovery of Baix Llobregat, a living and surprising district, and one which most certainly deserves at least a second visit.
