In a valley between the Garraf massif and the Ordal mountains, its location makes for a wide variety of visits; for instance, to El Mur, a belvedere surrounded by nature offering spectacular views of the Llobregat delta. Inside the village, you can visit the old rectory church (dating to the 16th century, with a Renaissance façade), the parish church of Sant Cristòfol and the boundary cross, dating from 1312. Many day trips start in Begues, such as the Ruta de les Fonts and to El Padró, a hill overlooking the whole valley. The Festival of Cuca Fera (a large “fire beast”) is a popular local celebration.
