Esparreguera
A millenary town, Esparreguera was the Capital of Catalan Culture during the year 2005. It boasts a rich architectural heritage, and visitors are encouraged to visit the old town, with its many manors. It is home to highest bell tower in Catalonia - 63 metres, offering magnificent views of Montserrat and the Llobregat. Also worthy of note is Colònia Sedó, an example of the first textile colonies of the 19th century.

Its natural surroundings are ideal for open air activities, it being one of the gateways to Montserrat nature park. In terms of its traditions, it is especially known for its re-enactment of the Passion of Christ, one of Catalonia’s main scenic events
