Baix Llobregat preserves its agricultural origins, offering a wide range of local porducts. Cherries, asparagus and artichokes, as web as the prize-winning chicken of the Prat breed – recognised by the European Union – are some examples of the ingredients making up the county’s cuisine. Restaurateurs have based themselves on these typical products to create a list of dishes making their cuisine a distinctive sign of quality.

The county’s cellars an bodegas – included in the Penedès denomination of origin – round off its own, personal culinary range.
