El Prat del Llobregat Beach
El Prat beach is 5.5 km long, stretching from the mouth of the Llobregat river to the Remolar pond. Of these 5.5 km, 3 km are suitable for social use (Remolar Beach, Roberta Beach and Can Camins Beach). Part of the coastline is bordered by the Can Camins pine forest.
The leisure and service offer is enhanced by the activity of four beach bars that operate throughout the bathing season.
The beach is home to the Municipal Sailing Centre, a municipal facility for water sports, and the CRAM, the Marine Animal Recovery Centre.
Therefore, the beach makes public use compatible with the conservation of its natural value, a task that is recognised by the Red Natura 2000 protection status.
El Prat beach is divided into 5 large sections, check the map of the beach 2021, here.
Remolar beach (700 m), protected.
Naturist beach, area on Remolar Beach (418 m).
Roberta beach (1,100 m), protected.
Can Caminos beach (1,185 m), also known as "equipped beach".
Ricarda - Ca l'Arana beach (2,700 m), protected and with restricted public use.
Conservation areas: the Remolar and Roberta areas are fully included in the Red Natura 2000. Ca l'Arana beach is part of a much larger protected area (397 ha) included in the ZEPA of the Llobregat delta, dedicated exclusively to the conservation of its high natural values.
