Parc del Torrent Ballester
A space that shows the roots of the crop and the fruit trees
Built in 1996, the park is conceived as a recreation of the typical mosaic that creates the fields of cultivation in the delta landscape, claiming the rural roots of the city. In order to create this effect, the entire surface of the park is based on areas treated with different pavements and plants.
Of the trees, it is worth mentioning the presence of a group of pre-existing white pines that were respected in the work, lindens, orange trees, love trees, garden plums, holm oaks, little trees, acacias from Japan, tipuanes the ficus. The present vivaus are aromatic based on holly and lavender.
Surface 19,000 m2.
